The arts of different continents, countries and regions can all teach us much about their particular people’s history, traditions and beliefs. In Africa we look at the tradition of kente cloths, and zellij tiles. In Asia we turn to the art of sumi-e and to the world-famous Taj Mahal. Finally, in South America we look at Guatemalan ‘worry dolls’ and at the brightly coloured textile art called molas.
