As well as looking good, the backpack IS designed with children in mind: the shoulder straps are adjustable and padded, as is the back. The bag has a belly clip to balance the weight of the bag on the body.
The bag has an inside pocket, an outside mesh pocket for a water bottle, and an outside pocket with a zip. A name tag is located inside the bag.
