Frequently Asked Questions at The Barefoot Kids

  • What payment methods do you offer?
    We accept Visa, Mastercard and Mastercard Maestro.
  • What currencies do you sell in?
    All transactions on our site are completed in Euro currency only. Our website includes a currency converter. However, this function is provided by a third party and is for indication purposes only and we are not responsible for accuracy of currency conversions shown. The customer is responsible for finally checking conversion rates, if they wish, from their own preferred source. Remember, even if using the currency converter, the transaction will still be completed in Euro.
  • Can I cancel my order?
    If a customer wishes to cancel an order for a full refund, or to exchange for another item, they may do so by emailing us at hello@thebarefootkidsstore.com. ​ If we are notified 2 hours or less prior to dispatch of the order, we can no longer cancel.
  • Do you have a Gift Registry feature?
    Yes we do. The link can be found in the top right hand corner of the site, underneath the shopping cart icon. You will need an account with us to create a Gift Registry. Once you have created an event, applied a date for the event and added your decription text you can then browse through our products and add them to your event. After this, you can enail your Gift Registry to your contacts. Those contacts can then order items in that registry.
  • Can I buy a gift card?
    Yes you can. You can learn more and order your gift card here.
  • Can I send a gift with a message?
    Yes you can. Just fill in the gift message field when ordering and we will make sure the message is added to a gift tag.
  • How long will it take to process my order?
    We do our best to process and dispatch orders within 3-5 working days of receiving order. This excludes weekends and public / national holidays. This may take a bit longer during busy periods such as Christmas.
  • Do you offer free delivery?
    We offer free delivery only to Malta addresses. Normally free delivery applies to orders over €40 but as an introductory offer we hare providing free delivery on all orders regardless of total value.
  • Do you offer international shipping?
    Yes we do. Most countries are included, but please email us at hello@thebarefootkidsstore.com if your country is not calculated, and we will do our best to offer a solution.
  • Who do you use for shipping?
    International shipping is sent out via MaltaPost, Malta’s national postal provider. Delivery to the customer is carried out by the equivalent national postal provider in customer’s country.
  • Will you provide a tracking number?
    Yes, we will provide all tracking details once order has been dispatched.
  • How long will it take for my order to arrive?
    We can only provide estimates depending on the destination, given during checkout. We cannot be held responsible for the time carriers ultimately take to make delivery.
  • What happens if my order does not arrive?
    We request that customer’s give orders sent to European destinations 6 weeks from date of dispatch - and 8 weeks from date of dispatch for all other destinations - before informing us that an order has not arrived. Customers should email us at hello@thebarefootkidsstore.com and we will open an enquiry with MaltaPost. If the order is confirmed as lost in transit we will post a replacement at no extra cost.

    You can return non-sale items so long as you follow our policy outlined in the Returns section of our Terms & Conditions.
